The Seasons for Growth Loss and Grief
Seasons for Growth Loss and Grief is an innovative, evidence-based change, loss and grief education program developed by the McKillop Family Services. This workshop draws on the metaphor of the seasons to understand the experience of grief. It builds the knowledge and skills necessary to strengthen the social and emotional wellbeing of adults who are dealing with significant life changes by:
Participants learn that they are not alone in their experience of change, loss and grief, and are able to build their communication, decision making and problem-solving skills within the context of a safe and supportive peer group learning environment.
Please note, due to the short timeframe that we will have together, we will not delve into personal grief. However, this is a safe space to explore and discuss grief and reactions more generally.
Hannah is an accredited social worker who works in the mental health team at Proveda. She has had experience across the aged care and disability sectors. Hannah is passionate about holistic wellbeing and providing safe spaces for clients to express themselves and connect.
