The speaker will explain what you can and can’t do when you lose your capacity to make your own decison. \nDuring the session\, you’ll learn about: \n\nWho will decide for me if I can’t decide for myself?\nHow can I appoint a financial decision maker and a lifestyle decision maker?\nHow can I plan ahead so that decisions can be made for me by someone else?\nHow can I be sure my decision maker is doing the right thing ?\nWho decides if I have lost my capacity to make decisions?\nWhat happens if I don’t plan ahead and lose capacity?\n\nDying to Know Day has been a national day of action\, originally on August 8 extending throughout the month of August with hundreds of hosts around Australia holding gatherings aimed to normalise conversations about death\, dying and grief\, encouraging individuals to learn about\, discuss\, and plan for their own end-of-life\, and to support others in doing the same.
