DESCRIPTION:You are warmly invited to Dying to Know Expo\, part of a national campaign encouraging Australians to open up meaningful conversations about death\, dying and grief. The Expo will create a safe and meaningful space to share\, ask questions\, and reflect. \nThis year’s Dying to Know theme – “Nobody Knows” – reminds us of the importance of sharing our final wishes\, because if nobody knows our final wishes\, they never will. \nThe Expo includes a speaker’s program\, exhibition area\, music\, a local artist painting a cardboard casket\, vintage and Harley Davidson hearses\, Ambulance Wish WA\, and Social Grounds Espresso food van. Boya Library will also be open on the day. \nBookings are essential for this free event. Please let us know if you have any accessibility requirements. \nPlease book for each area you wish to attend. Morning and afternoon speakers’ session tickets include access to the Exhibition Area. SUMMARY:Dying to Know ~ Values\, Wishes & What Matters Most
DESCRIPTION:As part of Dying to Know Day\, join Jacqui Williams (Doula) for a FREE community workshop exploring what matters most in life\, at end of life\, and beyond. Through guided conversation and reflection\, participants will have the opportunity to learn\, listen\, share stories\, and consider their personal values\, wishes\, and priorities — including how to have important conversations with those they care about. Morning tea and take-home resources will be provided in a warm\, supportive environment. Places are limited\, and bookings are essential. RSVPs close 7 August 2026 at 5 p.m. Venue is Victoria Point Library – upstairs Eprapah Meeting Room accessible from inside the library itself and stairs or lift available. Parking for the duration of the event – either behind the library in the large carpark area entrance Bunker Road or via Lakeside Blvd or behind Aldi. Note High St parking is time-limited parking so not suitable for this event due to the duration of the event.
