DESCRIPTION:Organised by Proveda Foundation in partnership with Manly Business Chamber and ANTHEMCYCLE\, the Spin-a-thon is a community fundraising event aimed to raise much-needed funds for youth mental health programs on the Northern Beaches. Youth mental health is a ‘wicked’ social problem with over 75% of mental health problems occurring before the age of 25. By participating in the event\, you’ll help support local charities\, Empowering Parents in Crisis (EPIC)\, Harrison Riedel Foundation\, KYDS Youth Counselling\, Waves of Wellness (WOW) Foundation and Proveda Foundation. \n\n\n  \nEvent details: \n\nDate: Saturday\, 7th December 2024\nTime: 10 AM start\nLocation: Near The Corso\, Manly\n\n  \n\nHow does the event work? \n\n\nThis ride is all to the beat of the music in an outdoor non-competitive environment!\n\n\n\n\nANTHEMCYCLE will be setting up 27 stationary bikes outside their shop on the pedestrian section of Sydney Road\, Manly\n\n\n\n\n108 riders (4 per bike) will be needed to ride for 45 mins at whatever pace they please (the event is all about fun!)\n\n\n\n\nRiders can be allocated to a bike by us (with 3 other people) or choose to create their own team of 4\n\n\n\n\nYou get to choose which charity your donation will benefit or if you like you can choose to support all of them!\n\n\n\n\nProceeds from the day will be donated to each charity based on their rider support base.
