Join us at our FREE Death Cafe on Thursday 29th August, 2024 from 10.00am-11.00am.

Enjoy coffee and snacks while having conversations about death, dying, and end of life planning in the friendly surrounds of Wendouree Neighbourhood Centre’s Kurrajong Room.

The purpose of our Death Cafe is to encourage our community to talk openly about mortality and end-of-life matters. Discussing death is not always easy, but it can enhance our appreciation for life and ensure we are more equipped to fulfil a loved one’s last wishes.

Our Death Cafe will be hosted by Ballarat Cemeteries’ CEO Annie De Jong. Its purpose is to encourage everyone to talk openly about mortality and end-of-life matters and to inspire you to make a start on your personal planning.
