Dying to Know Day

Little Haven is facilitating a community education event to be held on the 8th and 9th of August 2024 at UniSC Gympie Campus. Dying to Know Day is an annual campaign to increase people’s knowledge about death and dying and start conversations about what might be important to us in our final hours. Little Haven has worked with local providers – Dobbrick Financial Planning; Dore & Webb Solicitors, Gympie Cemetery Trust, Gympie Funerals and QVAD who will all be presenting, along with Little Haven staff, to share their knowledge and experience with the community. Death is a difficult topic for many and there is a lot of confusion and fear surrounding it. We are hoping that this event will help alleviate the fear of the unknown and people will be better prepared for the inevitable.
