Death Cafe – Frenchs Forest NSW

Join us for a Death Cafe this Dying to Know Day eve. A gathering where people come together to discuss death and dying in a relaxed, informal setting, often over refreshments like tea and cake. It’s not a bereavement support group or counseling session, but rather a space for open, non-judgmental conversations about mortality, end-of-life planning, and related topics. The goal is to increase awareness of death to help people live more fully in the present.

Dying to Know Day has been a national day of action since 2013, originally on August 8 extending throughout the month of August. Hundreds of hosts around Australia hold gatherings aimed to normalise conversations about death, dying and grief, encouraging individuals to learn about, discuss, and plan for their own end-of-life, and to support others in doing the same. We welcome these meaningful conversations in any location or setting.
