When you or a loved one are in crisis, it can be hard to know where to turn

The WayBack+ Program is a personalised and flexible, non clinical suicide prevention and support service.

This fee – for service program is delivered by a highly experienced  Mental Health Coordinator who will deliver tailored one-on-one support over 4, 8, or 12 weeks, helping participants build resilience, set personal goals, strengthen support networks, and connect with local and clinical services when needed.

Each option connects the participant with a Mental Health Coordinator, with extensive experience, who will work with them throughout the program.

This program is designed to be a wrap around service to not only support the participant, but also offers a range of services, education and advice to help family members, partners and friends.

Is A Referral Required to Enter the Program?

A referral to the program is not needed, however participants must be linked with a treating clinician including a GP, Psychologist, Psychiatrist, Mental Health Clinician or school counsellor before they can participate in the program.

The WayBack Team are qualified and highly experienced Mental Health Coordinators, who will meet you with compassion, understanding and kindness.

The team have supported over 3000 participants, providing personalised support as well as wrap around support for their family, friends and loved ones, providing information, advice and connections to services for those supporting the ones they love.

Program Options

The WayBack offers three levels of support with varying durations, and is tailored to suit individual needs. The program duration ranges from four weeks to twelve weeks, with the option to add additional weeks if required.

Each option connects the participant with a Mental Health Coordinator, with extensive experience, who will work with them throughout the program.

4 Week Program
$900

An immediate safety option, offering support and service connection. This would be suitable for someone who needs support while their psychologist is away or where they have one goal, such as wanting support finding a psychiatrist.

Program Inclusions:
- Comprehensive intake and assessment
- Collaborative safety planning
- Regular wellbeing check-ins
- Support network mapping
- Service linkage and navigation
- Exit and transition planning

- Improved understanding of supports
- Stronger immediate protective factors
- Progress toward a meaningful goal
- Linkages to relevant services

8 Week Program
$1700

This option includes all the 4 week components and community connection work. This option would suit an individual with multiple goals such as psychiatrist, assistance with life or financial pressure, and/or connection to community.

Additional Program Inclusions:
- Community connections
- Support to identify and address psychosocial factors contributing to distress
- Skill development

Additional Participant Outcomes Beyond the 4 Week Program:
- Stronger rapport and engagement
- Strengthen community and non-clinical support network
- Improved ability to manage life stressors
- Progress across multiple goals

12 Week Program
$2400

The 12 week option includes everything from the 4 and 8 week programs, along with ongoing coordination while building networks, family support, and engagement. At the end of the 12 weeks, participants will be provided with a warm handover to referral partners, or can choose to stay connected to the team for a modest fee (talk to the team for more information on this service).

Delivered by a Team You Can Trust

The WayBack+ Program is delivered by Proveda’s qualified and experienced mental health professionals.

Bryn

Bryn is a qualified mental health worker with an evidence-based approach to supporting parents, families and carers. She has worked with ReachOut Australia and SANE, and supported clients through suicidal crisis via The Way Back NSW. Bryn is known for her ability to navigate complex emotional needs with empathy and clarity.

Hannah

Hannah brings extensive experience in mental health and crisis support, having served as Senior Care Coordinator for The Way Back team. She has worked closely with young people and their parents to build safety, connection and hope during some of the most difficult periods of their lives.

Kate

Kate is a qualified counsellor whose career spans mental health, suicide prevention, domestic violence and addiction. A mother of two herself, Kate understands the particular challenges of raising children in today's world and brings warmth, skill and lived understanding to every family she works with.
