I was initially referred to you as I had just had a big operation, and while I had been on the basic level of care, my health had deteriorated. If I hadn’t had access to your expertise at that time, then I would not have been able to get the upgrade in care I really needed, which took a few steps to achieve. I have been able to achieve increased support, up from the very basic level within 6 months. I am honestly just so grateful, that I have people like you to help me. When the care circles support was implemented, I found it hard, but now find it amazing. Someone is always available, and I am not alone.

The Way Back team helped me to create a safety plan and set objectives for what I wanted to achieve through their service. During my time in the program, they helped me link to the various resources, including a trauma-informed psychologist, a psychiatrist, legal assistance and provided some self-care techniques, all while receiving regular guidance and check-ins. Following my involvement with The Way Back support service, I have achieved some personal goals through success in dog show competitions. I have a deep love for animals who bring me great joy, and I am extremely thankful for the support I got from The Way Back team.

Your support has changed my life. It started when I was diagnosed with a very progressive form of Multiple Sclerosis. It came out of the blue and was a very confusing situation for me. It was especially hard to understand what to do with the NDIS. It is a challenging process, very confusing, and I was rejected twice. My coordinator then stepped in and spent the time to work out what was missing (i.e. occupational therapy) and my application under his guidance, was then successful. Because of your expertise, I also got onto Advanced Rehabilitation Care which is exactly what I needed, and it has literally, extended my life.

“It was the little things my Proveda Care Coordinator knew about the system that gave me comfort. How to catch the bus with Jack to head up to the shops, which service would help Jack accept he was no longer able to drive, how I could get a break, how Jack could still play a round of golf with a care support worker he really liked and knowing who could play golf. Proveda also helped me to link with other carers in my situation, so we could share stories and a laugh. With Proveda’s help I was able to access a range of services and now feel so much better supported than I have in a long time.”
