Join Us for a Fortnightly, Creative and Social Gathering
Join Belong Club every second Thursday from 10 am to 12 pm to get creative, relax, and connect with others at the Creative Library at Manly. Whether you’re an artist or just looking for a relaxed and safe space to be creative with others, this event is for you.
Bring your own project—whether it’s painting, drawing, colouring, knitting, or crocheting—and spend a couple of hours socialising with others while enjoying the freedom of creativity. If you’re not sure where to start, no worries! Our wonderful volunteer, Aga, will be on hand to offer guidance and bring along a few projects to inspire you.
Creativity is a great way to boost your overall wellbeing, reduce stress, and spark new ideas while enjoying a supportive and friendly environment.
To attend, we ask for a $5 donation, which will go towards venue hire and art supplies, ensuring that these creative events can continue to thrive. Donations can be made online or in person at the event. Each donation gives you the chance to win a copy of Sensory Tranquillity: Touch Sight Sound Taste & Smell by Angie Inna. The winner will be announced Friday, 30 May 2025 so get your donations in before then!
Spaces are limited, so please register now to secure your spot! We look forward to seeing you there and getting creative together.
About our Volunteer
“My name is Aga and I am excited about volunteering with Proveda for the fortnightly, Creative and Social gathering. I like meeting new people and I value staying connected and engaged with the community. I love to be creative, listen to music, dance, walk my dog, have fun and try new things.
I have had an active role in the community and mental health sector since 2013. During this time I have worked as a family support worker, counsellor and group facilitator. Everyday I try to get inspired and learn something new. I believe our mental health and wellbeing are important and finding ways to be creative and kind to ourselves is essential. Having a fun and safe experience is what’s most important to me, I look forward to meeting you.”
