Death Cafe Ballarat – 27 Aug
FREE EVENT – BOOKINGS ESSENTIAL.
Join us for a FREE Death Cafe on Thursday 27th August, 2026 from 2.00pm – 3.30pm.
Hosted by Ballarat Hospice Care, Ballarat Cemeteries, and Grampians Region Palliative Care Consortium, the purpose of this Death Cafe is to encourage open conversations about mortality and end-of-life matters.
While all of our organisations have extensive experience supporting people at the end of life, during bereavement, and through grief, our Death Cafe itself is not a counselling, education, or support service.
Instead, we have come together to provide a welcoming, respectful space where people can gather over tea, coffee, and snacks to engage in open, group-directed conversations about death and dying. Everyone is welcome, and there is no agenda, objective, or intended outcome beyond creating an opportunity for conversation.
Bookings are essential as places are limited. Please scan the QR code on the poster to make your booking.
