Maya Angelou says your legacy is every life you touch.
This is a workshop to re-imagine what leaving a legacy means to you.
Even when we expect death, it can still come as a rude shock and more often than not, we are grossly under prepared. While we are alive and well, we have the opportunity to create something to ease the pain and perhaps even entertain those we leave behind.
In conjunction with this years Dying to Know Day theme of
Have you discussed your final arrangements, together we will:
create the contents for a legacy / for when I die box which contains both practical and personal goodies for those you leave behind.
we will contemplate how we want to be remembered & connect with our living legacy.
we will go over some of the legal documentation required at the end of life.
and explore the more sentimental, unique, quirky pieces you may choose to include in YOUR legacy box.
YOUR actual legacy box is as unique are you. I found mine at an op-shop. You don’t have to have a box ‘ready to go’ to attend the workshop as we are more focused on the contents but do feel free to bring yours along if you have one.
Please note Erin will be talking openly about death and dying. If you are not feeling resourced in yourself, that’s ok, perhaps skip this session out. There will be other opportunities.
Bookings essential. Please reserve your place here.
