Matters of Life and Death Cafe

“What is your Matters of Life and Death Cafe?“???

It sounds rather odd, right? Matters of Life and Death.  Believe it or not, it has become a space for people to come together and have honest and direct conversations about death stuff.

The common topics are

• “What to do when?”
• “What is an Advanced Care Plan, and what does it do?”
• “What happens to me after I have gone? Where does the body go?”
• “What types of celebrations can I have? or How can I be loved and remembered. “

So many other questions, and some are a lot more personal too.

It’s not a counselling space.
It’s not a grief group.
It’s a welcoming space for people to meet and connect.

It’s a space to ask questions, explore concerns, apprehension and fears.

A space to dream of what could be, and get ideas of what to do, especially for the funeral/wake/life celebration.

Let’s face it, too many people are not comfortable talking about death, planning their own death or wanting to know more about the life options available to them.

There are sooooooooo many ways to do death and farewells.
You can design or create anything that aligns with your personality and your wishes.
YOU need to talk about it and don’t leave your loved ones clueless and guessing!!!
