Ten things to know before you go
Ten Things to Know Before You Go
A practical and supportive workshop to help you start important conversations about end-of-life planning.
There is a lot of information available about planning well and getting our affairs in order, but it can be difficult to know where to begin.
Join Carolyn Vaughan from Proveda for this in-person workshop exploring the practical, legal, emotional and social aspects of end-of-life planning in a relaxed and supportive setting.
Only 53% of Australians feel able to talk to a family member about end-of-life matters. This workshop offers practical tools and knowledge to help these important conversations feel easier, more informed and more productive.
From legal documents and funeral planning to understanding palliative care, Ten Things to Know Before You Go provides a thoughtful introduction to the essentials of planning ahead with confidence.
· Plan for the future and make sure your wishes are understood.
· Understand how to respond with care when someone close to you is grieving.
· Build a support network that prioritises social and emotional wellbeing at end of life.
Previous participants have reported feeling more empowered to navigate different aspects of the end-of-life system, with 80% taking direct action in their own planning after attending the workshop.
Bookings essential.
