Compassionate Communities Grant
Grant Round #5
At Proveda Foundation we’re passionate about building stronger communities and focusing on ensuring those most vulnerable, who often fall through the gaps, are supported and given a chance to flourish. We’re passionate about addressing loneliness and social isolation through fostering compassionate communities.
Compassionate Communities is a practice that openly encourages, supports and celebrates caring for each other during life’s most testing times, especially those associated with life threatening or life limiting illness, chronic disability, being a carer, frailty, ageing, dementia, dying and grief.
In 2024, we are focusing on those grieving a suicide loss.
Recognising the invaluable role that communities play in supporting those bereaved by suicide. We are committed to supporting grassroots initiatives that create compassionate communities in the Northern Sydney area for this population’s wellbeing and foster harm prevention.
Our Compassionate Communities Grant Round #5 is now open.
